The Vienna Police Department employs Flock Safety technology to collect objective evidence while prioritizing individual privacy. This system allows for retroactive searches to assist in solving crimes after they have occurred. Additionally, the cameras provide real-time alerts for vehicles on a hotlist, enabling the identification of missing individuals, Amber Alerts and wanted persons. To promote transparency and ensure responsible use, the department has made its Flock Transparency Portal publicly accessible.
